Chapter 56 - When the deceased is a child, during the funeral prayer

160 - "O Lord, protect him from the punishment of the grave (* O Lord, make him a preceding reward and a stored treasure for his parents, and an answered intercessor. O Allah, through him, make heavy their scales and magnify their reward. Unite him with the righteous believers, place him under the care of Ibraheem, and protect him by Your mercy from the torment of Hell. Give him in exchange a better residence and a better family than his. O Allah, forgive our ancestors and our descendants and those who came before us with faith."

اللهُـمِّ اجْعَلْـهُ فَرَطـاً وَذُخْـراً لِوالِـدَيه، وَشَفـيعاً مُجـاباً، اللهُـمِّ ثَـقِّلْ بِهِ مَوازيـنَهُما، وَأَعْـظِمْ بِهِ أُجـورَهُـما، وَأَلْـحِقْـهُ بِصالِـحِ الـمؤْمِنـين، وَاجْعَلْـهُ في كَفـالَةِ إِبْـراهـيم، وَقِهِ بِرَحْمَـتِكَ عَذابَ الْجَـحيم

Allâhumma a^cidh-hu min ^cadhâbi-l-qabr.
Allâhumma j^calhu faratan wa dhukran li-wâlidayhi, wa shafî^can mujâban. Allâhumma thaqqil bihi mawâzînahumâ, wa a^czim bihi ijûrahumâ, wa alhiqhu bi-sâlihi-l-mu'minîna. Wa j^calhu fî kafâlati Ibrâhîma, wa qihi bi-rahmatika ^cadhâba-l-jahîmi. Wa abdilhu dâran khayran min dârihi, wa ahlan khayran min ahlihi. Allâhumma ghfir li-aslâfinâ wa afrâtinâ wa man sabaqanâ bi-l-îmân

161 - "O Allah, make him a preceding reward, a prepayment and a recompense for us."

اللهُـمِّ اجْعَلْـهُ لَنا فَرَطـاً، وَسَلَـفاً وَأَجْـراً

Allâhumma j^calhu lanâ faratan wa salafan wa ajran.
